Hamilton Lane Appoints Senior Investment Team Hire in London as European Presence Grows

  • Diana Celotto joins the firm with over 20 years of experience, including 18 years at UBS in private markets 

London – Leading global private markets investment firm Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE) today announced the appointment of Diana Celotto as Managing Director in the Fund Investment & Managed Solutions team, where she will focus on leading primary General Partner (GP) relationships across Europe. She is based in the firm’s London office.

Diana will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating private markets fund opportunities, overseeing manager selection and due diligence, and supporting portfolio construction for clients. She will report to Christian Kallen, Head of the Fund Investment & Managed Solutions team. She joins an established platform with strong manager relationships across more than 700 GPs, supported by a global team of more than 60 investment professionals. The platform has significant scale in the industry, having allocated $23.6bn to private markets funds on behalf of institutional investors in 2025.

Diana joins Hamilton Lane from UBS Unified Global Alternatives, a $366bn alternatives platform investing on behalf of UBS Asset Management and Global Wealth Management clients. As Co-Head of Private Equity, Diana led the global private equity business and was responsible for engaging with leading GPs across Europe, driving manager selection and delivering private markets solutions for clients.

Hamilton Lane has been actively growing its presence in Europe across six offices with over 90 employees, building on over two decades in the region. Recent senior appointments include Alexandre Hökfelt, Managing Director on the Direct Credit Investment team in London; Maria Sala, Principal and Head of Multi-Strategy Evergreen Products in Switzerland; and Jan Rådberg, Senior Advisor in Sweden.
