Chelsea Chen, CPA
Chelsea is a vice president on our Fund Accounting team, where she is the Fund Controller, accountable for the oversight and management of all fund accounting, reporting and administration activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2024, Chelsea was a vice president on the Alternative Financial Reporting team at BlackRock, where she was the team lead managing the financial reporting oversight and audit coordination process for alternative products supported in the Americas. Prior to her time at BlackRock, Chelsea was a senior audit associate at Ernest & Young LLP supporting their financial services practice in Philadelphia. Chelsea started her career as an audit associate at PricewaterhouseCooper LLP in their Asset Management practice.
Chelsea is an active Certified Public Accountant and earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Beijing University of Technology. She also has a master’s degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.
