Yusuke Shinkawa
Yusuke is a Vice President on the Client Solutions team based in the firm’s Tokyo office, where he is primarily responsible for client relationships.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2026, Yusuke spent about eight years with Tokio Marine Asset Management Co., Ltd., most recently as a Senior Fund Manager, where he was responsible for managing separate accounts for institutional investors focused on global private equity fund investments. He was also involved in global private equity funds portfolio management and investment activities across the full lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, execution and post-investment monitoring. Prior to that, Yusuke worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he was involved in global private equity funds portfolio management and investment activities, as well as global risk management, including regulatory compliance and the analysis of risk-related metrics.
Yusuke received a B.S. in Social Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
