Principal, Fund Accounting
Kenny is a Principal in the Fund Accounting department, where he is responsible for overseeing the operations and financial reporting for the firm’s evergreen investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2026, Kenny served as Chief Financial Officer at IRE LLC, overseeing finance and accounting operations for a $930 million private equity real estate portfolio. Before that, he spent 19 years at UMB Financial, including 13 years as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Fund Services. He began his career as a Senior Associate at KPMG LLP.
Kenny holds an MBA from Utah State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah Valley University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
