Carlos is Vice President of Tax in the Private Markets and Evergreen Platform, responsible for structuring and compliance in international jurisdictions. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, he was a Senior Manager in International Tax at EY in New York, where he focused on structuring and M&A transactions. He started his career as a tax associate in Bogota for Deloitte and Garrigues.
Carlos received an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University, a Tax Degree from Universidad de los Andes and his Law Degree from Universidad de la Sabana. He is a member of the California bar
