Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Hamilton Lane Announce Strategic Collaboration to Deliver Investment Solutions to the Wealth Channel
BOSTON and CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Columbia Threadneedle Investments and leading private markets investment firm Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE) today announced a strategic collaboration to deliver innovative investment solutions to the wealth channel.
The collaboration brings together Columbia Threadneedle's public markets expertise, multi-asset investment capabilities and strategic distribution relationships, with Hamilton Lane's leading private markets platform, investment sourcing capabilities and data analytics expertise. Both firms share a commitment to client-centric solutions, research- and data-driven investing and innovation.
For many investors, broad access to private markets investments is still limited. Investment solutions that offer exposure to both public and private investments, institutional-quality portfolio management, sophisticated investment capabilities and the operational features advisors and investors value, can help solve for that.
As part of the collaboration, Columbia Threadneedle today filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC) for the Columbia Hamilton Lane Growth Innovation Fund (the Fund), a public-private growth equity interval fund managed by Columbia Threadneedle. The Fund’s launch is subject to registration with the SEC and fund board approval, and it is expected to be offered to the wealth channel through financial advisors.
