Val Okouneva
Val is a vice president on the Evergreen Operations team, based in our Toronto office. She oversees the day to day operations of the Canadian evergreen feeder funds and offers operational insight and guidance on any fund related inquiries.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2024, Val served as the Operations and Compliance Manager at a boutique hedge fund, where she led the full spectrum of operational and compliance functions. She previously worked as an investor services specialist at an investment fund and supported several financial advisors in an associate capacity.
Val received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from Ryerson University and is a registered dealing representative under the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).
