Mika Tashiro
Mika is a Principal in the Client Solutions Group based in the firm’s Tokyo office, where she is primarily responsible for managing relationships with wealth management distributors and supporting business development in Japan.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2025, Mika spent more than 20 years in the financial industry, most recently at MSCI in Index Sales, covering major asset management firms and driving the expansion of the wealth management business. Previously, she held roles at UBS Asset Management and J.P. Morgan Asset Management, focusing on fund distribution and client solutions for retail and intermediary markets. Prior to that, she worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
Mika received a B.A. in Economics from Waseda University and is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (CMA) as well as a Licensed Real Estate Transaction Agent.
