David Hetherton
David is a Vice President on the Client Solutions team based in the firm’s Sydney office, where he is responsible for supporting client relations across Australia and New Zealand with a focus on institutional clients.
Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2026, David was a Vice President at StepStone Group on the Infrastructure and Real Assets research team supporting a range of institutional clients in Australian, Asian and Middle Eastern markets across separately managed accounts and direct investment mandates. David has also held investment management roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia and a boutique infrastructure asset manager. David began his career at PwC in the valuations practice and has worked across Australian and New York offices.
David received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland.
