Director of Sales, Cobalt LP
Marco Smith is a Director of Sales for Cobalt LP, Hamilton Lane’s proprietary private markets analytics software. Marco works closely with Hamilton Lane’s global business development teams to educate investors on the importance of leveraging technology to manage their private market portfolio to be more efficient and make data driven decisions.

Prior to joining Cobalt LP, Marco spent four years with Hamilton Lane’s secondary investment team, where he was part of a team originating and evaluating potential investment opportunities. Before joining Hamilton Lane, Marco was a relationship manager with the Wharton School covering private equity, venture capital, real estate and impact investing.

Marco holds an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Albright College.
