Josh is a Director and heads Hamilton Lane's Hong Kong office. He is responsible for overseeing client management and new product activity as well as managing investment activity in the Asia ex-Japan region.

Prior to his current role, Josh served in Hamilton Lane’s Co-Investment Group, where he was responsible for leading the due diligence of direct investment opportunities alongside a wide spectrum of general partners on a global basis.

Josh joined Hamilton Lane from the corporate finance group of Loews Corporation, a publicly-traded diversified financial holding company with interests in insurance, tobacco, offshore drilling, natural gas pipeline, hotel, and consumer timepiece businesses. At Loews, Josh had analytical responsibilities in areas relating to the company's capital structure and its corporate strategic direction, and also served as the Director of Investor Relations, the company's primary liaison to the investment community. Prior to Loews, Josh spent time as a research analyst at Grant’s Interest Rate Observer, a value-oriented and contrary-minded journal of the financial markets. Earlier in his career, Josh was an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he valued enterprises for tax and financial reporting purposes and investigated financial fraud in the commodities markets.

Josh earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business and holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
