Keith Spears is a Vice President in the Investment Group based in the San Francisco office. He works on partnership and co-investment opportunities for the Golden State Investment Fund.

Keith has extensive financial advisory and investment experience through a number of senior investment positions. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane, Keith was chairman at Omega Capital where he led the firm's marketing, deal execution, strategic planning and financial activities. He also was General Partner at Leadership Private Equity Partners, a fund focused on emerging private equity managers; Vice President of Business Development for Gateway Inc; Founding Principal, Merchant Banking of Genesis Capital Partners; and Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at Goldman, Sachs.

Keith has B.A. in Economics and Urban Studies from Brown University, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School.
